Acá en Chile solemos definirnos como un país de pitutos en el que los grupos sociales son círculos cerrados.

También se le ha dado mucho a las elites, que los cargos se reparten entre compañeros de curso del colegio o el primo de tercer grado.Foto colaborativos

Pero hay otro tipo de redes que en el mundo digital son imprescindibles. Este tipo de redes, que llamo indirectas, antes lo conformaban barrios o clubes, pero tampoco responden a lo mismo, ya que estos lugares son a la vez segmentados.

Podríamos hablar de gremios o clústers de negocios, pero ningún organismo de ese tipo permite a los integrantes interactuar entre si. Más que nada, todo conciste en un organigrama y lo que la directiva o presidencia hacen hacia abajo por todos los asociados.

Sin embargo, las redes sociales han botado esa barrera. Para dar un buen ejemplo comento los grupos de Facebook. Yo estoy metido en un grupo de búsqueda de pega, uno igual pero premium más exigente, uno de social media, uno de agenda de contactos y otro donde se destapan empresas o personas con las que no conviene trabajar.

Para mi, como periodista, esos grupos son vitales en mi ejercer. En unos busco clientes y nuevas opciones de negocios, en otro veo casos y me entero del aconteceder desde los mismos publicistas o diseñadores, en otro descarto opciones y en uno, suelo pedir los contactos cuando los necesito.

Ni mis grupos de amigos ni todas las personas que conozco personalmente me podrían ofrecer las infinitas opciones de esos grupos. Y en ellos, no hay exclusión. Son redes indirectas, disponibles e integrales. Son pitutos indirectos.

Tomás es un genio de la pluma. Me tuvo cagao de la risa todo el rato de lectura. El libro es como una montaña rusa. Pasaron sus momentos hasta que llegué a la parte de la fire woman y me recargué de la risa de nuevo. Me emocionó muchísimo el capítulo de Fiji. Y el final, me hizo reír a carcajadas.

Leí la novela con calma y tranquilidad. Cabalga bien la novela con una prosa que avanza. Esta fue mi segunda lectura, la primera fue muy rápida, espaciada y distraída. Rescato el desenlace, me gustó bastante, bien logrado. Es un buen cierre para un libro entretenido. Me agradó el tono, cercano, esa narración en primera persona, para el lector actual, es clave. También la honestidad con la que el autor se involucra en la historia.
